Website operator
This website is operated under the trading name HJH Office.
Website: https://hjh-office.shop
Email: info@hjh-office.shop
Market served: Australia
For an order, the contracting merchant is HJH Office as identified in the order confirmation and payment record. Customers should quote their order number in correspondence.
Trading identity and records
HJH Office is the trading identity used for sales through hjh-office.shop. The order confirmation, payment record and any tax invoice supplied for a transaction identify the merchant information associated with that sale. Any Australian Business Number, Australian Company Number, registered business name, physical address or other disclosure legally applicable to the operator must also be displayed on the website and transactional documents.
Electronic copies of these policies can be stored or printed. The contract language is English. We keep appropriate order records for fulfilment, accounting, fraud prevention, complaints and legal compliance, subject to the Privacy Policy.
Purpose of the website
The website provides information about products and enables customers to place online orders. Product pages, prices and stock information are invitations to treat rather than binding offers. A customer makes an offer by submitting an order, and a contract is formed only when we accept it in accordance with the Terms of Service.
Contact and formal communications
General enquiries, complaints, cancellation notices, privacy requests and notices relating to website content may be sent to info@hjh-office.shop. Email is monitored for business communications. A message is not treated as received merely because it was sent; customers should retain a copy and any delivery confirmation.
Consumer information
Before ordering, customers are shown the main characteristics of the goods, total price, payment method, delivery arrangements, delivery cost, cancellation information and any applicable contract duration. The checkout provides an opportunity to review and correct errors before an order is submitted. The final order button indicates that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.
Standard delivery is free and is ordinarily estimated at 15–20 days. Goods will be delivered within the stated or otherwise agreed period and, if no time is fixed, within a reasonable time. Australian law does not generally require a change-of-mind return, but our voluntary 30-day policy applies to eligible goods. Full details appear in the Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing on this website excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded. Goods supplied to consumers must be of acceptable quality, safe, durable, fit for common and disclosed purposes, and correspond with their description or sample. Depending on whether a failure is major or minor, remedies may include refund, replacement, repair, compensation for reduction in value and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. Contract terms are intended to be fair, transparent and interpreted consistently with the Australian Consumer Law.
Product use and regulated purposes
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, office furniture is not represented as medical equipment, disability equipment, protective equipment or a complete workplace-safety solution. Customers and employers remain responsible for workstation assessments, safe systems of work, accessibility and compliance duties that depend on their premises, personnel and operations. This does not shift responsibility for our descriptions, mandatory warnings, product safety or consumer guarantees.
Customers are responsible for obtaining any landlord, strata, workplace or property permission needed for anchoring, assembly, electrical connection or use. Load ratings, adjustment ranges and instructions must be followed. Products must not be modified, used as ladders or play equipment, or placed where they obstruct exits and access routes.
Toppling-furniture information standard
The Consumer Goods (Toppling Furniture) Information Standard 2024 applies to specified consumer furniture, including certain clothing storage units and bookcases at least 686 millimetres high, entertainment units of any height, and specified hall tables, display cabinets, buffets and sideboards at least 686 millimetres high. From 4 May 2025, covered furniture supplied in Australia must comply with the applicable point-of-sale, online-description, permanent-label and instruction-warning requirements.
Where a product is covered, its required warning must be prominent and legible and customers should follow the supplied anchoring information. The correct anchor depends on the furniture and wall or floor material. Children have died from furniture toppling, so drawers, doors and shelves must not be used for climbing and heavy items should be stored low. Mandatory warnings and anchoring information do not replace the supplier’s wider safety and consumer-law obligations.
Electrical equipment compliance
Motorised desks, power supplies, controllers and other in-scope electrical equipment supplied in Australia must meet applicable state or territory electrical-safety laws and the Electrical Equipment Safety System requirements where adopted. Depending on the equipment and supply role, requirements may include sourcing from or registration by a legally eligible Responsible Supplier, equipment registration by risk level, compliance evidence and use of the Regulatory Compliance Mark.
Customers should check model information and use only the stated voltage, cords, power supplies and controls. Electrical equipment must not be opened or modified by an unqualified person. A compliance mark or registration does not exclude the Australian Consumer Law guarantees or liability for an unsafe or inaccurately described product.
Price transparency and fair commercial practices
Mandatory charges are displayed as part of the total price or made clear before the customer commits to pay. Paid optional extras require active consent. We do not permit false or misleading claims, fake consumer reviews, concealed incentivised reviews, suppression of genuine negative reviews in a misleading way, false scarcity claims, component pricing that obscures the minimum total price, unconscionable conduct or unfair terms prohibited by the Australian Consumer Law.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website’s design, written content, product presentation, graphics, photographs, logos and compilations are owned by or licensed to HJH Office and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual-property laws. Personal, non-commercial viewing and printing for shopping purposes is permitted. Reproduction, republication, distribution, scraping, framing, modification or commercial exploitation requires prior permission unless allowed by law.
Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.
Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care over website information but may correct errors and update content. Availability may change before an order is accepted. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, and maintenance or circumstances outside reasonable control may cause temporary disruption. These statements do not exclude liability for inaccurate product information that forms part of an accepted consumer contract or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
External links
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their availability, security, content or privacy practices. Users should review the third party’s own terms and privacy notice. A link does not itself constitute endorsement.
Security
Users must not knowingly introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with service, misuse credentials or attack the website. Suspected vulnerabilities should be reported responsibly to info@hjh-office.shop and must not be exploited or publicly disclosed in a way that creates avoidable harm.
Accessibility
We aim to make product and policy information reasonably accessible. Customers who have difficulty accessing material information or completing an order may contact info@hjh-office.shop for reasonable assistance. Accessibility support does not involve requesting payment credentials by ordinary email.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles. Cookies and similar technologies are disclosed through the website’s privacy information and available controls. Commercial electronic messages are subject to the Spam Act.
Complaints and disputes
Please send complaints to info@hjh-office.shop. We will try to resolve them fairly and within a reasonable time. Consumers may also contact the consumer affairs or fair trading agency in their state or territory, report conduct to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and use any tribunal, court or alternative dispute-resolution route available by law.
Governing law
This notice and use of the website are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which the consumer ordinarily resides, without depriving the consumer of mandatory protections. Consumers may bring proceedings in courts or tribunals having lawful jurisdiction.
Updates
We may update this Legal Notice to reflect changes in the website, our practices or applicable law. The revision date shown above identifies the current version. Updates do not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing contract.
Electronic contracting
The website explains the technical steps needed to conclude a contract and provides an opportunity to identify and correct input errors before submission. Contract information is supplied in a form that the customer can save, normally by confirmation email and accessible website policies. Customers should retain these records for reference.
No ergonomic, medical or installation advice
General information about adjustment, posture, anchoring, electrical features, materials or possible uses is not a substitute for advice from a qualified ergonomist, health practitioner, installer, electrician, workplace-safety professional or relevant authority where the circumstances require one. We are responsible for specific statements that form part of the product contract, but we do not assume knowledge of a user’s health, body dimensions, premises or workplace obligations unless those facts are clearly communicated and accepted.
Reporting intellectual-property concerns
A rights holder who believes that website content or a customer-submitted design infringes copyright, trade mark or another right may email info@hjh-office.shop with identification of the protected work, the challenged material, the basis of the claim and reliable contact information. We may request evidence of ownership or authority and may restrict disputed content while reviewing a credible notice.
Knowingly false or abusive notices should not be submitted. A customer whose content is affected may be given an opportunity to provide relevant evidence, subject to legal restrictions and the need to protect confidential information.
Community standards for submitted material
Submitted text, images and reviews must not be unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, deceptive, sexually exploitative, privacy-infringing or designed to facilitate crime. We may refuse production or remove public content on those grounds. Moderation does not mean that we endorse or accept legal responsibility for every user submission.
Linking to this website
Fair and lawful links to public pages are permitted provided they do not imply a false association, endorsement or partnership and do not frame the website in a misleading context. We may ask for a link to be removed where it infringes rights, misrepresents our business or creates a security risk.
Website compatibility
We aim to support current mainstream browsers and devices, but cannot guarantee compatibility with obsolete software, disabled essential technologies or altered browser settings. If a technical problem prevents a customer from reviewing material information or correcting an order, the customer should not submit payment and should contact us for assistance.
Evidence and records
Electronic order records, correspondence, carrier information, payment confirmations and system logs may be used to establish what occurred in a transaction, subject to applicable evidence and data-protection law. No single automated record is necessarily conclusive where credible contrary evidence exists.
Regulatory cooperation
We may preserve and disclose information where lawfully required by a court, regulator, tax authority, law-enforcement body or product-safety authority. Requests are assessed for legal validity and scope. Where permitted, we seek to disclose no more personal information than is reasonably necessary.
Interpretation
Headings are for convenience and do not limit the meaning of this notice. References to legislation include amendments and replacement provisions in force where relevant. “Including” means including without limitation. If a statement is capable of more than one interpretation, it should not be read in a way that removes mandatory consumer rights.
Corrections to website information
Typographical, technical and image-placement errors may occasionally occur. We may correct them when discovered. If an error affects material information in an accepted order, we will contact the customer and apply the law rather than relying on a general correction clause to impose a different bargain. An obvious pricing error is handled under the Terms of Service.
Product statements and endorsements
References to office styles, professions, workplace types, design eras, device brands or colour names may describe appearance, compatibility or intended use and do not necessarily indicate sponsorship, licensing or endorsement. Licensed or officially compatible status will be stated only where applicable. Customers should not infer an official commercial relationship merely from a descriptive reference.
Counterfeit and unlawful content
We do not knowingly offer counterfeit goods or reproduce protected branding without permission. We may cancel a personalised request that appears designed to create a counterfeit, false certification, misleading identity document or other unlawful article. A refund for a declined request will be handled according to the stage of production and applicable law.
Website accounts
If account functionality is offered, users must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and notify us of suspected unauthorised use. We may suspend an account to investigate security, fraud or serious misuse. Suspension does not remove rights relating to valid orders, refunds or access to personal information.
Availability of policies
Policies are presented separately so customers can review, store and reproduce them. If a technical issue prevents access before purchase, the customer should contact us and should not proceed until material terms have been made available. The version relevant to a completed order can be established from the date, confirmation and retained records.
Consumer support sources
Consumers may obtain independent information from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the consumer affairs or fair trading agency in their state or territory. Privacy complaints may be raised with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Mentioning these bodies does not imply that they have approved this website or these policies.
Alternative dispute resolution
Where we are legally required or voluntarily agree to use a particular alternative dispute resolution provider, we will give the customer the provider’s name, website and relevant participation information. Unless a mandatory rule applies, inclusion of this paragraph does not commit either party to a provider that was not identified for the dispute.
Preservation of rights
A failure or delay by either party to exercise a contractual right does not automatically waive it. A waiver relating to one event does not apply to a later event unless clearly stated. Contractual rights are cumulative with legal remedies except where the law requires an election between inconsistent remedies.
